Standard Vs. Multiple Vs. One - Off Task?

Q: Should I use Standard Single Task, Multiple Standard Tasks or a One-Off Task?

A: You are best served using Standard Single or Multiple Standard Task.

  • Use Standard Tasks to create individual Tasks from a prebuilt Task Rule. Standard Tasks,  such as refresh clean, gift basket, or maintenance, are not automatically added to the Calendar but can easily be added at any time.
Tip: In most cases, we recommend you use a Standard Single Task so you have more control over notifications, calendar, and reports.
  • Use Multiple Standard Tasks to add Multiple Tasks to one Property.  For example, if you need to add Tasks to bring a gift basket, and schedule requested mid-stay clean for one booking you can add both tasks at once.
Note: To update Task details of newly added Multiple Standard Tasks, Go to Scheduling Calendar --> Click on the Task --> update the  Task Detail Pop-Up Window
Tip: For Multiple Standard Tasks that are set to Schedule Vacant Days Only, they will initially be added on the date selected in the popup and will move once the server updates. To speed this up, click on a Booking for that specific Property and Save.
  • Use One-Off Task for adding a quick Task that you never plan on using again and will not be filterable in reports.
