If a last minute Task is added to a staff will they receive a notification?

Q:  If a last-minute Task is added to staff schedules will they receive a notification? 

A: Staff will not receive a notification if a task (including last-minute) is manually added to their schedule unless selected to be sent from the Task Popup Window.

This allows the scheduler to shift schedules without sending out notifications for every change.

When a task is manually assigned to staff it will show up on their staff dashboard if it is within the range of dates they can see.

Notifications for Last Minute Auto Assigned Tasks can be turned on in Setup --> Staff; edit. Scroll down to the Notifications area. 

Task Lists can also be set up to be sent out Daily or Weekly based on the needs of each staff.  

Concerned that last minute booking will create last-minute Auto-assignments?

You can change your last minute Tasks from auto-assigned to Lead Staff; to Unassigned. 

Setup --> Task Rules --> edit; Turn off Staff Auto assignments if a new Booking comes in last minute.

This way all last minute tasks will show up in Unassigned and then you can assign the task and click on the task and send a notification to the staff.

Click on the Task --> Check Send Notice to Assigned Employee on Save --> Save
