How can I add a task in the past?

It is not possible to add a standard or one off task in the past, however after the task is complete it is possible to move the complete date to a past date.  Follow these steps.

1.  Add the task for today
2.  Mark it complete
3.  Click on the task and change the completion date using the Edit Completion Date button
