Task Notification Rules
Notification Rules allow Operto Teams Administrators to set notification parameters for upcoming Tasks upon previous Task completion. When the selected Task is completed it will trigger a notification to be sent to the scheduled Staff member of the upcoming chosen Task scheduled before the next check-in.
Example Notification Rule: Inspection Needed - When a Checkout Cleaning is marked complete the Staff member scheduled for the upcoming Quality Inspection will be sent the message entered by the Administrator, such as "Cleaning complete, please inspect"
Add Notification Rules
- Turn on Advanced Notification Rules in Setup --> System Settings
- Setup --> Task Notification Rules
- Click Add Notification Rule in the upper right corner of the page
- Enter the name of the Notification Rule
- Enter the content of the message that will be sent to staff in the Text and or Email Notice field
- Select the checkbox next to the name of the Task that will Trigger the Notification upon completion
- Select the checkbox next to the name of the Task that will receive the Notification
- In the dropdown menu at the bottom of the page, choose the number of days to notify if the next check-in is _ days or less. Choose Anytime for the Notification to always be sent
- Select the box for Issue Indicator to include a "With Issues" note in the notification, when an issue has been reported for the completed Task
- Click Save
Task Notification Rules can be edited (pencil icon) or deleted (red X)
Tip: Turn off Task Complete notice in Setup --> Administrator Notifications to avoid multiple notifications.
Tip: Turn off any After Previous Task dependant rule notifications in Setup --> Task Rules scheduling detail Notify Assigned Staff upon Parent Completion setting.
Tip: Emails and Text notifications will only be sent to staff with Send Email and Send Text settings checked. Set in Setup --> Staff
