Q: Why did a Task move from the scheduled date?
A1: The Task will move to the date on which it is marked complete. For example, if Staff is scheduled for a Task on the 5th and they mark it complete at Midnight or later, it will then move on the calendar to the 6th.
Setup --> Staff If an Administrator does not have permission to view all Staff members and can not see that they may be unassigning that Staff, this can cause Tasks to go into unassigned.
Another reason a Task might move dates is if the property is not in a region in which case no time zone is applied to the property.
The last reason a Task might move outside of the scheduled dates is that the Task Rule is set to be scheduled Vacant Days Only and will move to the next vacant day.
To change this go to Setup --> Task Rules; Edit
The completion date can also be edited in the Task Popup Window.
