Using Quickbooks Desktop Billing and Payroll Integration

This article is to be used after the Setup Steps are complete.

Navigate to Manage -- > Quickbooks

Sync Billing

Step 1: Approve Tasks

From the dots menu, choose Sync Billing

Only Billable Tasks are shown.

Use the Filters at the top as needed.

Use the Actions dots menu to Approve or Exclude each item.


Step 2: Use Web Connector to sync Approved Items

Open Quickbooks Web Connector 

Check the box next to Sync Billing With VRS

Click Update Selected to run the sync.

IMPORANT NOTE: Properties must be assigned to Regions for the Tasks to be listed. For synced Billable Tasks mapped Property Name, Service Name and Fee amounts will be sent to Quickbooks

Step 3: Find and adjust the Sales Orders in Quickbooks

From Customers --> Customer Center, Transactions tab, choose Sales Orders.

Make adjustments and create invoices as needed.

Sync Payroll

Step 1: Approve Time Tracking

From the dots menu, choose Sync Time Tracking

To adjust items, use the Tracking  screen first.

Use the Filters at the top as needed. 

Use the Actions dots menu to Approve or Exclude each item. 


Step 2: Use Web Connector to sync Approved Items

Open Quickbooks Web Connector  

Check the box next to  Sync Time Tracking With VRS

Click  Update Selected to run the sync.

Step 3: Find and adjust the Times imported in Quickbooks

From Employees --> Employee Center Center, Payroll tab, choose Time Tracking from top navigation. 

Make adjustments as needed.
