Where is my Booking?

Question: Where is my Booking?

Answer: There are multiple places you should look to find your bookings.

1.  If the Property has just been booked, you may have to wait 10- 20 minutes for it to be imported automatically. Speed the process along by requesting the software to go look for new bookings.  

a. On the  Bookings page Click the Look for New and Updated Bookings button.   

b. Monitor the progress through the Master Calendar

2. The Bookings page is a great way to find bookings. 

    1. Click on Bookings then Filter by the property, Click Apply.
    2. Review the list for your booking. Note that bookings highlighted in grey are inactive. 

3.  If the booking is still missing, note that Operto Teams does not import the following:

    1. Unconfirmed reservations from PMS software (Escapia, LiveRez, etc.) 
    2. Blocks from iCal imports (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) unless activated via  Setup --> Properties --> choose Import Blocks.  This is NOT recommended, as it can cause overlapping and incorrect bookings
    3. Note: There are multiple ways to add Blocks as Bookings. Learn more about Handling Calendar Blocks  

4. If using API and/or iCal feeds then

    1. View the raw feed from Setup --> Properties.  
    2. Click the magnifying glass then click View Feed for the property, and search for the missing reservation.  
    3. Contact the Owner to see where the original reservation was placed.  You may need to gather additional iCal links or ensure the entered iCal link is correct.

5.  If the reservation is unconfirmed, a block, or otherwise missing, you can add it manually through Bookings Page. See this article:  Add Bookings

Tip: Remember to check your master calendar after any change with bookings, to review and make sure the bookings look correct.
